    Bob has been connected to baseball for more than 50 years. He has competed in hardball, fast pitch and slo-pitch softball leagues, tournament teams,
    and has a passion for baseball history. He is an avid memorabilia collector and has a unique collection of early photographs, trophies and pre-1900
    presentation bats.

    In 2005 Bob began research into the roots of baseball in Orange, Putnam Dutchess and Westchester Counties in New York. Particular focus has
    been players on the Wallkills, the Asylum Base Ball Club, the Hudson River Leagues and Black Barnstorming teams that played in the area
    between 1866 and 1908. He has presented to the SABR Negro League Conference, Orange County Historical Society, Thrall Library, Rockland
    Psychiatric Center's Pathways to Progress Program, the Orange County Historian, Middletown Kiwanis, Carmel Rotary, Reed Library, Mt. Pleasant
    Historical Society, Peekskill Little League, Fairfield Museum & History Center, Peekskill Museum, Taconic Postcard Club, Middletown Historical
    Society & The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. - April 2011

     Bob has owned and managed SPRING FEVER a vintage baseball memorabilia company for 17 years.
     Articles from Bob's collection were featured in The Glory Days (NY Baseball 1947-1957) at the
    Museum of the City of New York. Bob's written articles have been published in Baseball - A Journal
    of the Early Game, Glove Collector's Newsletter, Orange County Historical Society Journal,
    and Mahopac News. Team Manager for Men's "A" League and 40+ Softball
    Championship Teams in Greenburgh, NY Member of the Glen Cove Vikings, Champions of the
    Long Island Senior Men's Softball League. Member - Society for American Baseball Research (SABR)
    Negro League and 19th Century Baseball Committees and the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
     Current Board Member Middletown Historical Society. Current Trustee and Treasurer Peekskill Museum.

     Bob holds an MBA in Business Management from Adelphi University in New York and a BS in Finance from University of West Florida.
    He also attended graduate classes at the New School for Social Research and NYU in New York City. He has been a member of
    the American Management Information in Financial Services (AMIFS) formerly the National Association of Bank Cost Accountants or (NABCA).

     His business skills were developed through 30+ years in Financial Management with Bankers Trust, JPMorganChase and pre merger firms.
     Bob was the originator and organizer of The Westchester Superstars. Annual competition held for several years in the late 1970's.
    The competition drew several hundred athletes, benefiting the National Special Olympics. He is a member of the Westchester Baseball Group.
