To not outdo, by any means, the Museum Matters Newsletter that is mailed to members infrequently, we are interested to also bring forth another newsletter, one that inherits the movement of what's happening at our museum. Liberty Day came and went. Not until a few days later, I was made aware that our own Chauncey M. Depew was a speaker at the Dedication Day in New York! It was a sad day for us that we had forgotten to address this famous day with our own prominent son. If this were to repeat and it may, we can add these events to the web newsletter and make our year pass by more interestingly with the going ons of Peekskill's past historic people and days gone by.
This newsletter will be in full color, (except for some photos which were taken before color was available), much nicer than our original newsletter which was black and white.- This newsletter is in addition to the members newsletter, Museum Matters. This is an online newsletter with updates, any updated information we receive, and any gossip we can hear. Please note we are working on this newsletter. It may be in Power Point, HTML, or another format, but it will be enjoyable to all.
