This million dollar collection is the central repository of information on the history of Peekskill. Three dedicated staff members are happy to answer your inquiries by appointment, by mail, or over the phone."

Also, as a service to the Museum, Bob Boyle (Field Library Reference Librarian/Local History Specialist) is available at (914)737-1212 for further assistance.  To submit a genealogical or a subject request click here.

Peekskill became a city in 1940 and has only birth records from that year. Surrounding the City is the Town of Cortlandt and the Town Clerk (914) 734-1000 may have the birth records for the earlier years. They also may be able to contact the proper person(s) in the town to do research.
