The Peekskill Museum is a private not-for-profit organization.
It does not receive any money nor is it funded from any governmental sources.
We rely on both private and corporate financial contributions, bequeathments, membership dues and donations.
The Peekskill Museum is always open to donations of talent, time and financial contributions.
Mission of the Peekskill Museum
The mission of the Museum is to collect, preserve, study, and interpret objects and documents pertaining to Peekskill and the
surrounding areas.
1. Collects and preserves artifacts, objects, publications,
documents, photographs and other items related to Peekskill's History from earliest
settlement to the present.
2. Performs Maintenance of a research collection of past and current
literature on Peekskill's history.
3. Preserves and maintains the Herrick House as an example of 19th
Century domestic architecture.
Membership & Benefits
1. Admission to the Museum is free to
members!
2. Members receive the Museum Matters colorful Newsletter
3. Personal Invitations to Parties by regular postal mail.
Admission for Non-members:
$2.00 - Adults,   $1.00 - Children.
Corporate / Business - Patron             $500 & up
Additional benefits are admission to special events held during the course of the Museum season, May through December. Also the Museum Newsletter " Museum Matters" (Also sent out via email)
These are the basic rates. We also accept larger donations that
may be tax deductible.
We do have an IRS number for this purpose.

Temporary Exhibits --
The Museum
endeavors to make available changing exhibits each season.
